Happy Birthday [vL^#?}!

Officially formed on the 7th of July 2007 - [vL^#?} has survived to celebrate it's 2nd Birthday today.

Throughout the last two years we have stuck together against all odds, and fought hard to keep our position and reputation in Vietcong.

Other clans have slung mud at us and excluded us - and some continue to do so. Unfortunately for these clans, the false allegations and rumors along with the childish sanctions did not have the intended effect. Instead of crushing our clan, they strengthened it.

We have accomplished quite a lot in 2 years: we have developed a 1.01 division alongside our 1.60 division, we have maintained dedicated server(s) in 1.60 and 1.01 which are open for public use, and we have maintained an active website and forum. 68 players have worn our tags, we have had three leaders and we have played 12 Official Wars.

We hope for increased player activity in VC, with or without the support of other clans, and we will continue to come up with fresh ideas and projects to work towards.

Lastly, I want to thank all of those current members who have stuck by us - through thick and thin - and those members who have departed but who contributed so much to this clan.

Happy Birthday vL, you guys have certainly gone through a lot and endured many tough times. Got a good war record -a strong and organised clan with awesome members and capable leaders. Even though I was in =NSM= and our clans had a fair amount of disputes and I daresay, rivalry, I am proud to now be a member of vL.

Well done guys. I'm getting back into VC again. Hope other under-active members find VC's charm again too and play with the clan more. Keep up the good work Apple and Ow.
